Problem Richmond Events organise conference
on cruise ships covering a wide-range of industries
from logistics to finance, catering and human resources.
The diverse range of their promotional material lacked
unity and did not exploit the opportunity to emphasise
Solution Buckland Design created the
colour-coded 'ship strip' to go along the bottom of
every piece of Richmond Events literature. The device
worked on a number of levels, making the literature
easy to identify and use internally, as well as highlighting
the brand externally without imposing unnecessary restrictions
or compromising the individuality of each event (some
of which have established reputations of more than ten
years). Buckland Design also set up corporate guidelines
to ensure cohesion in all future marketing materials.
